Danielle Doty (18), Miss Texas Teen USA 2011, was crowned Miss Teen USA 2011 on Saturday July, 16, 2011 at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. She was crowned by reigning Miss Teen USA Kamie Crawford of Maryland. Doty is the second Texan to be named Miss Teen USA. Christie Lee Woods, who was later an “Amazing Race” contestant, won the title in 1996.


The first runner-up was Audra Mari of North Dakota. The other finalists were Alexis Swanstrom (California, second runner-up), Taylor Clark (Kansas, third runner-up) and Sydnee Stottlemyre (Missouri, fourth runner-up). Miss Teen USA 2005 Allie LeForce and Chet Buchanan, a Las Vegas radio and TV host, served as hosts for the pageant, which streamed live online.
